Rules

These rules apply to all members, trials and guests – on our website (including forum and wiki), on our Discord server and on our TeamSpeak (ts.rogclan.de). Game and squad rules add to this rulebook. By taking part, you accept these rules. In short: be fair, be respectful, have fun.

1. §1 Scope Important

   • The clan rules apply on all RoG platforms: website, forum, wiki, Discord, TeamSpeak and our game servers.
   • Individual games and squads have additional rules. If rules conflict, the stricter one applies.
   • Anyone playing on other servers with the RoG tag or as a RoG member represents the clan – these rules apply there accordingly.
   • Not knowing the rules is no excuse: once you've confirmed them, you know them.

2. §2 Respect and tone Important

   • We treat each other in a friendly and respectful way – even in the heat of battle.
   • No insults, no bullying, no threats, no deliberate provocation (flaming, trolling).
   • Criticism is welcome, but keep it constructive. Settle disputes privately or with a moderator – not in public chat.
   • New and inexperienced players get support, not mockery.

3. §3 No discrimination, no illegal content Important

   • Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia and any other form of discrimination are forbidden.
   • No extremist or violence-glorifying content, symbols or names.
   • No pornographic or disturbing content (NSFW, gore) – not as text, image, link or avatar.
   • No pirated software, cracks, account trading or other illegal content.
   • Violations of this section can lead to exclusion without prior warning.

4. §4 Names, avatars and profiles

   • Nicknames, avatars, profile texts and status messages must comply with §2 and §3.
   • Choose a name people can recognise you by – ideally the same on website, Discord and TeamSpeak.
   • The clan tag [RoG] may only be worn by members. Trials use the tag only after approval.
   • Impersonating another person, a moderator or clan leadership is forbidden.

5. §5 Discord

   • Use channels for their intended purpose – topics belong in the matching channel.
   • No spam: no message floods, no CAPS LOCK shouting, no mass mentions (@everyone, @here, role pings) without reason.
   • In voice channels: no soundboard or voice changer spam, no loud background music, use push-to-talk if there's background noise.
   • Roles and channel permissions are assigned automatically via the website. Please don't ask for roles in chat.
   • Bots may only be invited after consulting clan leadership.

6. §6 TeamSpeak

   • Our TeamSpeak is ts.rogclan.de. Link your TeamSpeak identity to your website profile so your server groups are set automatically.
   • Squad and match channels have priority for their squads. Don't disturb ongoing matches or training sessions.
   • No channel hopping, no poke spam, no music bots without permission.
   • Good mic etiquette please: push-to-talk or properly configured voice activation, no noise or echo.
   • If you're AFK for a longer time, move to the AFK channel.

7. §7 Website, forum and wiki

   • One account per person. Secondary or fake accounts are not allowed.
   • In the forum: meaningful titles, the right category, and a quick search first to check whether the topic already exists.
   • No pointless posts, no bumping old threads without new content.
   • In the wiki: only verified and helpful content, no deliberate misinformation or vandalism.
   • Uploads and short links may only be used for clan-related, legally safe content. Misuse leads to loss of the permission.

8. §8 Advertising and spam

   • No advertising for other clans, servers, Discords, shops or streams without permission from clan leadership.
   • Streams and videos by RoG members may be shared in the designated areas.
   • No chain letters, fake giveaways, phishing or scam links.
   • No unsolicited direct messages with advertising to other members.

9. §9 Privacy and data protection Important

   • Other people's personal data (real name, address, phone number, photos etc.) is never shared without consent (no doxxing).
   • Conversations in voice channels may only be recorded or streamed if everyone present agrees.
   • Screenshots from internal areas (member area, internal forum sections, squad channels) are not shared outside.
   • Internal clan information stays internal.

10. §10 Fair play and cheating Important

    • Cheats, hacks, scripts, macros and bug exploits are forbidden on our servers and in matches.
    • Any RoG member caught cheating elsewhere will be removed from the clan.
    • We win and lose with dignity: no trash talk towards opponents, no ragequitting, GG is part of the game.
    • Suspect a cheater? Send proof (demo, video, screenshot) to an admin – don't accuse anyone publicly.

11. §11 Activity, absence and leaving

    • We don't expect constant presence, but a reasonable level of activity in your squad.
    • Please enter longer absences (holidays, exams, personal matters) in your profile under Absence.
    • Members who are inactive for a long time without notice may be set to inactive status after being contacted.
    • Membership in another clan for the same game is only possible after agreement with clan leadership.
    • If you leave the clan, let us know. Leaving fairly matters as much as playing fairly.

12. §12 Moderation and sanctions

    • Instructions from moderators, admins and clan leadership must be followed. Discuss them via private message, not in public.
    • Depending on severity, sanctions are: notice → warning → mute/kick → temporary ban → permanent exclusion.
    • Serious violations (especially §3, §9, §10) can lead to immediate exclusion.
    • A ban applies across all platforms: website, Discord, TeamSpeak and game servers.
    • You may appeal a sanction once by messaging clan leadership.

13. §13 Changes

    • Clan leadership may change these rules at any time.
    • For significant changes, you'll be notified and must confirm the rulebook again.
    • In case of doubt, clan leadership decides in the spirit of fair play.
