At Rebels of Gaming, people from many countries play, chat and meet. To keep it safe for everyone, one principle always applies: the protection of children and young people comes first. These standards apply to the website rebelsofgaming.com, the wiki, the apps for iOS, Android and Windows and everything that runs through our Discord bot.
Zero tolerance
The following is strictly forbidden on our platform, without exception:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) – whether photo, video, drawing, AI-generated or a link.
- Grooming: contacting minors with the aim of sexually exploiting or manipulating them.
- Any form of sexual exploitation of minors, including sexualised messages, extortion (sextortion) or offering and requesting such content.
- Content that trivialises, glorifies or gives instructions for abuse.
This applies everywhere: in the forum, wiki, news comments, gallery and uploads, in profiles, in direct and group messages, in the apps and in interactions with our Discord bot. Anyone who violates it is removed – without warning.
Minimum age
Our platform is for people aged 16 and over. When you register, you confirm your age with your date of birth; anyone younger cannot create an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we suspend it.
How to report
If you notice something, please report it immediately – better once too often than once too few. Your report is confidential; the reported person does not find out who reported them.
- In the app or on the website: tap or click “Report” on a post, message, profile, image or upload and choose the reason “Child safety / endangering minors”. These reports go straight to the top of the queue and notify the team immediately.
- In the forum: under “Report” you will find the link “Report child safety / endangering minors”.
- By email to our child safety contact: info@rebelsofgaming.com – even without an account.
If a child is in immediate danger, call the police right away: 113 in Luxembourg, 112 across Europe.
What we do
- We review every child safety report immediately and with the highest priority.
- We block or remove the content right away so that it cannot spread any further.
- We suspend the account of the person responsible – on the website, in the apps and on our Discord and TeamSpeak servers.
- We preserve the necessary evidence where the law requires it, and only for as long as the competent authorities need it. After that, it is deleted.
- We report child sexual abuse material and cases of grooming to the competent authorities and cooperate with law enforcement.
Competent authorities
We report to these organisations – and you can also contact them directly:
- Police Grand-Ducale – the police in Luxembourg (emergency number 113).
- BEE SECURE Stopline – Luxembourg’s reporting point for child sexual abuse material online, anonymous reports possible.
- NCMEC CyberTipline – the international reporting point of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
- INHOPE – the worldwide network of internet hotlines – find the hotline in your country here.
Help for those affected
- BEE SECURE Helpline (Luxembourg): 8002 1234 – free and confidential, for problems online.
- Kanner-Jugendtelefon (Luxembourg): 116 111 – for children and young people, anonymous and free.
- Outside Luxembourg, the police or a hotline from the INHOPE network can help you.
